Career Services

The Office of Career Services provides assistance to students and alumni seeking jobs and assistance to employers who are seeking to hire Ivy Tech's well-educated, high qualified individuals. The Office of Career Services actively supports students and alumni in identifying potential employment and also supports employers in connecting with talented individuals to fill their positions.

 

JobZone is Ivy Tech's FREE online job board. Students and alumni can post resumes and search for job and internship opportunities. JobZone is a college-wide, online job board for local, regional, and statewide opportunities, but also allows students and alumni access to national and international job opportunities.

Indiana Career Explorer is a FREE and easy to use online tool available to all Hoosiers to explore their career interests and skills. Individuals can identify occupations, establish educational strategies and ultimately connect with employers.

InterviewStream is an interactive experience for individuals who want to prepare for job interviews. InterviewStream users can review helpful interviewing tips as well as complete a web-based mock-interview, and complete a self-evaluation of their interviewing skills. Individuals can create an InterviewStream account by accessing JobZone.

Employers are vital to Ivy Tech Community College and its students and alumni. The Office of Career Services is committed to the continual development of relationships with employers within the state, as well as regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Through JobZone, Ivy Tech's online job board, employers can list an unlimited number of job vacancies and interships, browse resumes and recruit students on campus and reach alumni statewide at no cost. Students and alumni from Ivy Tech's 30 campuses located throughout the state regularly visit JobZone for up-to-date employment information.

Employers can also search JobZone's "Resume Books" to sort potential job applicants based upon credentials, degree type, location and other criteria. Interested employers may create a JobZone account by clicking here.
