The Leadership Development class at Ivy Tech teaches you valuable skills that set you up for success as a leader. Participating students improve essential skills such as communication, problem solving, creativity, and persuasion. The class is proudly community-centered, so students walk away with an enhanced awareness of their community and skills to foster a community vision. They also learn how to build functional and effective teams and create stewardship opportunities.

Leadership Development is designed for both existing and emerging community leaders. Whether you want to improve your current leadership skill set or are interested in building a career in business, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), or community leadership, the certificate will enable you to become a resourceful steward of the community.
