Ivy Tech Community College; Changing Lives
Dual Credit
If you're a high School junior or senior, consider taking advantage of our dual credit program. It allows you to simultaneously enroll at Ivy Tech and a secondary School to earn college and high School credit at the same time.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

  • You must be a high School junior or senior.
  • Submit a signed course reservation form.
  • Meet readiness requirements and any course prerequisites.
  • Enroll in courses-only status, though the credits you earn may apply toward degree programs offered at the Ivy Tech campus issuing the credits.

High School juniors and seniors may earn up to 15 credit hours in coursework through the program. Under some circumstances students may be permitted to earn more than 15 credit hours.

There is no cost to high School students who take a dual credit course taught by a high School teacher. However, regular tuition applies to courses taught by Ivy Tech Community College faculty. Some students may qualify for reduced or free tuition. Contact your high School counselor for more information.
