Effective business writing remains a standard in the workplace even as rules have adapted and changed with the introduction of new forms of communication. The Fundamentals of Business Writing workshop is a partnership with the American Management Association utilizing proven adult learning techniques to engage the learner.
After successful completion of this course, students will know how to write with clarity and style, while accurately, clearly and quickly expressing their ideas. Students will learn to make business writing a process and become more confident in their work. The course teaches how to use expressive words while keeping sentences and paragraphs short, and thoughts simple. Students will learn techniques to engage the reader and create a feeling of true personal communication, as well as how to format documents so they are inviting to read and easy to understand.
