This course will introduce students to the terminology and concepts of Property and Casualty insurance. Topics include history of property insurance, home owners policy, personal auto policy, other personal property insurance, commercial property insurance, negligence of legal liability, personal liability insurance, commercial liability insurance, ethics and Indiana insurance laws and regulations.

Students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Ivy Tech Community College and the Department of Insurance, which allow a student to sit for the state licensing exam.
