The Real Estate Sales Pre-Licensing program participants will learn basic real estate principles and practices to include real estate law financing, brokerage, closing, valuation, management, taxation, and mathematics. After successful completion of the course, students will receive an Ivy Tech certificate which will allow them to sit for the state exam.

Training Description and Materials
The program includes instruction in land use, property insurance, the Indiana real estate license statute, and the rules of the Indiana Real Estate Commisssion. The course meets the pre-licensing educational requirements for the Indiana Real Estate Sales license and is approved by the Indiana Real Estate Commission.The textbooks for the course are Modern Real Estate Practice: 17th Edition: Galaty, Allaway and Kyle: Real Estate Education Company: Dearborn Publishing, Inc and The Indiana Real Estate Commission Statutes and Rules Booklet: April 2006
