Autodesk Architectural Desktop Level I
This course focuses on the design development and construction documentation features of Architectural Desktop (the basic tools that most users will need in their work). These tools may be used independent of the conceptual design oriented features of the product. Instruction covers floor plans, design content and viewing tools, specialty objects, space planning, elevations and sections, documentation, and customization.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

• Basics of design development and construction documentation with Autodesk Architectural Desktop

• Utilize basic commands necessary for architectural design and drafting using Architectural Desktop

• The primary objective of this courseware is for students to learn the basic commands for architectural designing and drafting with Autodesk Architectural Desktop software

• Use design resources and tools to increase productivity in the architectural design process

• Add ceiling grids, ceiling fixtures, column grids, and structural members to a building model

• Add floors,walls, and roofs to a building model

• Add doors, windows, spaces, and stairs to a building model

• Create and distribute plotting sheets for a building model design that includes views, display themes, annotations, schedules, and callouts

HOURS AND COST

¥our Autodesk Architectural Desktop, Level I training course includes 22.5 contact hours for up to 4 employees. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, participant text CD, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
