Autodesk Vault Level I
This course covers the basic capabilities of Autodesk Vault for archiving and Product Lifecycle Management. The principal focus is on managing projects with Autodesk Inventor. However, use with other products will also be discussed. Topics include organizing and sharing files, version management, integration with Autodesk Inventor Design Management Tools, multi-user environments, and the installation and management of Vault.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • The primary objective of this courseware is to cover all features in Autodesk Vault for managing files and projects with Autodesk, Inventor, AutoCAD®, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD® Electrical, and Autodesk® Civil 3D®. This courseware is designed to provide students with the knowledge and expertise to quickly and accurately share design data across a manufacturing team using Autodesk Vault.
  • Perform basic Autodesk Vault tasks
  • Track and manage versions of a design using Autodesk Vault
  • Organize and share files
  • Work in a multi-user environment
  • Integrate with other Autodesk Inventor design management tools
  • Manage Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Electrical, and Autodesk Civil 3D files using Autodesk Vault
  • Move existing Autodesk Inventor projects into Autodesk Vault
  • Basic configuration management of Autodesk Inventor designs using the Vault Product Lifecycle Management tool
  • Leverage the Vault Explorer and Vault Manager to access, manage, and search for data from outside the Inventor

HOURS

Your Autodesk Vault Essentials training course includes 15 contact hours for up to 4 employees. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, participant text CD, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
