The purpose of this introductory course is to provide the students with a basic understanding of the features and considerations associated with the operation of the computer-aided design (CAD) software Inventor. They will be expected to complete several projects (increasing in difficulty) relating to command topics.

• Do commands for file management including format, copy, and delete

• Retrieve and insert multiple parts

• Dimension a drawing using current drafting standards

• Advanced Solid Modeling (Feature Based Modeling)

Training description and materials

This instructor led course with reference text, will focus on objects, setup, formatting, exporting, layers and styles.

 

Hours and Cost

Your Solidworks course is a 24- hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 4 participants.  2.4 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.  Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbook & course materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
