TRAINING DESCRIPTION
This is an introduction to the technology of fiber optic communications, sending communications over hair thin strands of ultra-pure glass and sometimes plastic. This course presents an overview of fiber optics and studies the uses for fiber optics, advantages, cable details, connectors, splices, sources, detectors, and fiber optic systems.
HOURS AND COST
Your Fiber Optics course includes 40 contact hours for up to 10 employees. 4 IACET Approved CEUs will be awarded with the successful completion of the 40 hour workshop. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, participant text, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
