This course provides participants the opportunity to practice the machining skills learned in related industrial classes, such as manufacturing processes, introduction to machining and turning and milling processes in an open lab environment. Each participant is given a series of progressive projects to complete using different machinery and hand tools within the machine shop.

Training description and materials
This instructor led course with reference text and workbook focuses on the learner’s ability to demonstrate competencies in machining through hands-on activities.
Hours and cost:
Your Machine Shop Labs course is a 28-hour training activity, scheduled at your convenience for up to a maximum of 10 participants. 2.8 IACET approved CEU’s will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, textbook & course materials, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
