The basic quality tools are used by all levels of business operations today.  This course teaches basic quality problem solving and statistical tools to workforce employees who have had little to no formal training in continuous improvement methods.  Basic quality tools apply to either Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and are the key to support and grow continuous improvement efforts.  An introduction to the Six Sigma DMAIC process is covered.  This course is best utilized by workplace groups or teams.  The course can be taken alone but best supports the core Lean and Sigma Courses.  The content of this course may also be referred to as Six Sigma Yellow Belt Tools.

This instructor-led course with reference materials focuses on the study and application of the quality tools used in Lean Enterprise Six Sigma training.
