Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Six Sigma Black Belt training and project mentoring is based on applied learning and application of the five major elements of Six Sigma: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. COURSE OBJECTIVES

• Develop facilitative leadership skills, set meaningful agendas, run effective meetings

• Develop a project charter, develop goals and objectives, define initial problem statement

• Identify the customers of the process to be improved, and their needs and requirements

• Create a high-level map of the process to be improved

• Create a data collection plan and calculate the baseline sigma performance

• Analyze the data collected, the process itself, and the root causes for current performance

• Validate root causes through designing and implementing experiments

• Create solutions to improve sigma performance and project goals

• Create buy-in to solutions and sustain sigma improvements over time

TRAINING DESCRIPTION AND MATERIALS

This course will include training of a project champion and provide on-site consulting with management. Instruction and course materials are driven toward complete preparation for the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification exam.

HOURS AND COST

Your Six Sigma Black Belt Certification course is a 176-hour training activity usually delivered in one week per month for five months for 8 participants. Pricing includes training administration, instruction, course materials, a daily lunch, and an activity evaluation at the conclusion of training.
