Ivy Tech Community College currently has partnering agreements in place with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship and JATCs in the State of Indiana:
• Boilermakers - Indiana
• Bricklayers - Indiana
• Carpenter/Millwrights - Indiana
• Electricians - Indiana
• Elevator Constructors - Indiana
• Iron Workers - Indiana
• Operating Engineers - Terre Haute, Indiana
• Painters - Indiana
• Plasterers/Cement Masons - Indiana
• Plumbers and Pipefitters - Indiana
• REMC - Indiana
• Sheet Metal Workers - Indiana
Ivy Tech has articulation agreements, under which students may transfer individual courses or entire programs of study to a number of public or private institutions.
Most recently, Ivy Tech has signed an articulation agreement where students may transfer the entire Sheet Metal Workers curriculum to The National Labor College of the George Meany Center for Labor Studies, http://www.georgemeany.org/. The agreement will easily allow apprentices to earn a bachelor degree upon completion of their program.
