The Tutoring Center at Ivy Tech Community College - Columbus provides tutors to help you enhance your study skills, and help you become an independent learner to further your academic success.

We provide FREE tutoring support for the following courses:

• ENGL 024, ENGL 025, ENGL 031, ENGL 032, ENGL 111
• MATH 040, MATH 044, MATH 050, MATH 111

If you need tutoring in areas not listed, please contact the Student Success Center.

Please sign up for a tutoring appointment in the library.

Location: The tutoring center is located in the Columbus Learning Center Library in Rooms 1635 and 1631.

Hours: The center is open Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Hours vary by semester. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are allowed, providing the time slot is open.

Several ways you can get the most from tutoring:

• Come to the tutor center prepared. Bring textbooks, class notes, past exams, course syllabus, etc.
• Attend all class sessions so you are familiar with the materials.
• Be willing to be helped and put forth effort.
• Arrive on time.
• Call if unable to attend tutoring sessions.
• NOTE: Tutoring is not a substitution for in-class instruction.
