What does Life STEPS – Trio Student Support Services do?
Life STEPS provides academic and personal resources via mentoring, tutoring, academic success workshops, one-on-one appointments, referral to community resources, career advising, etc. Coaching is provided each week for students who want to improve time management, study organization, testing strategies and financial literacy.
How can students participate?
In order to be eligible for Life STEPS resources, a student needs to be a first generation college student, have limited income or a documented disability. Students can pick up applications in the NIC Room 511 on the Cowan Road campus in Muncie, or the Student Affairs office area of any campus in our region. The Life STEPS program serves 160 students so space is limited.
