This course provides you the tools needed to determine a Green Project. Discover what the future may hold for a Green Lifestyle. This track is designed specifically for those individuals who are involved in the nuts and bolts of green building. Engineers, architects, builders, and those that would like to have a more in – epth approach to green building.

This course is specifically designed to train a person to conduct energy ratings on new homes or audits on existing homes and to help prepare for the RESNET written and field exams or the BPI written and field exams. If you are interested in working as an energy rater or auditor for helping weatherize homes, use our materials to get the training to help prepare you for working as an auditor/rater.

HERS RATER (RESNET) CERTIFICATION

RESNET is the Residential Energy Services Network, the American Building Performance Rating System. RESNET is a non-profit industry membership corporation that makes national standards for building energy efficiency rating systems and certifies individuals as Raters. A certified RESNET Rater is an individual who has the knowledge base and skill set defined by RESNET, has performed 5 ratings under the supervision of a Certified Rater, passed a national online test, and then becomes certified by a RESNET Rating Provider. Audiences for this course include: Career Seekers, Weatherization Professionals, HVAC Professionals, and Insulation Professionals, HERS Raters, Home Inspectors, General Contractors, Home Builders, Engineers, and Architects. Credentials: RESNET Certified Rater (Industry recognized credential by RESNET). Note: Tuition does not include exam fee.

SMART HOMES AND HOME AUTOMATION
