Helping provide that commitment of quality healthcare are health information management professionals who specialize in electronic health records and other emerging technology; education for patients, providers, and administrators; patient record structure and content; data abstracting and analysis; privacy and security issues; quality improvement; compliance of standards and regulatory requirements; support for clinical researchers and business analysts; and advocating for consumers. A reservation is not required to attend a Health Information Technology Information Session. Sessions are held in room 352 at the Fairbanks Center on the Lawrence Campus, 9301 E. 59th Street (just north of 56th and Post Road).
Sessions will last for one and one-half hours.
