AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ADULT, INFANT AND CHILD CPR AND FIRST AID
(Course ID: HLTH CPF1)
This American Heart Association course combines CPR and first aid training to teach participants to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants, children and adults; perform first aid for cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, bleeding, sprains and strains, treat sudden illnesses, including poisonings and heat and cold emergencies; minimize the effects of shock; recognize emergencies and take action; and understand the role of AEDs in the Cardiac Chain of Survival.

CPR/BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

Provides students with information necessary to recognize the need for one and two-person cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as it relates to adults, children and infants. Requires students to safely perform CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

FIRST AID

This Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. This class fulfills Daycare licensing requirements by the State of Indiana.

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID WITH ADULT, CHILD AND INFANT CPR AND AED
(Course ID: HLTH FAA2)

PROFESSIONAL RESCUER CPR/AED

The CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer course will train those with a duty to respond, the skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an AED to care for victims of cardiac arrest. This course is designed for lifeguards, nursing students, emergency responders, dental students, etc. Student will receive certification upon successful completion of this course.
