Students are advised to check with their Program Chair before registering for any form of Advanced Credit or Test Out Exams. Be certain you take the correct test.


In order to ensure students are able to transfer credit to another institution, students are advised to contact the institution directly to ensure test out credits are accepted.

Prior to the test date, students must come to the Assessment Center in Ivy Hall, Room 1135, or call 765-269-5611 to register for the exam. The registration fee must be paid at time of registration.

You must present a photo ID before taking any test.

CLEP - College Level Examination Program

• CLEP tests are standardized tests that many colleges accept for credit
• Administered Monday - Friday by appointment only
• Must register at least 24 hours from testing date
• Cost: $ 20 Registration Fee (non-refundable)

                $ 72 Exam Fee (Paid by Credit Card at time of test)
                $ 82 Exam with Essay Fee (Paid by Credit Card at time of test)

• Most exams generate unofficial score reports immediately after testing.  Official score reports, including score reports for exams with essays, may take up to 6 weeks to be received.

DANTES - Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support
(DSST - DANTES Subject Standardized Test)
