Club Teams

MEN’S BASKETBALL
2012-2013 marked the first season of competitive Basketball for Ivy Tech – Lafayette. The team played a variety of schools with other club teams such as Butler, Indiana University, Southern Illinois University, and other Ivy Tech regions. Games were also played against Junior Varsity teams from NCAA D3 programs such as Wabash College, Rose-Hulman, and Franklin College. Led by Coach Dave Martin, the Lafayette region Basketball Team transformed from a group of students thrown together to a unified team that travels all over Indiana representing Ivy Tech in competition. All home games and practices are hosted at the Lafayette Family YMCA. Try-outs for the 2013-2014 season will be held on October 14th and 16th.

MEN’S & WOMEN’S SOCCER
The Ivy Tech Soccer Team has started as a Co-Ed program. The team competes in an Adult Soccer League at the Legacy Sports Club in Lafayette. As the Soccer program grows, Ivy Tech will look to separate the program into Men’s and Women’s teams, and schedule Club games against other colleges. Currently, the Soccer team practices at Kennedy Park in Lafayette.
