1) Who sponsors this fair?
The fair is sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College Career Services Office

2) Who attends the fair?
Up to 200 students and alumni from most health care majors will attend the fair.

3) When should I plan to leave the fair?
The fair is heavily advertised from 12 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please remain at the fair until 3:00 p.m. to ensure that you connect with the largest number of candidates. Many candidates attend the fair around their class and work schedules and make plans to attend the fair later in the day.

4) What can I expect to happen at the fair?
Most employers talk individually to candidates about their job openings, career opportunities, and the hiring process. Many provide information about company benefits, and the communities in which they live and work. Candidates are there to get information, market their skills and identify contacts for future correspondence. Many will drop off resumes and follow up with you later.

5) Where do I park?
Parking is available in the Ivy Hall A and B lots. There will be an attendant available from 11:00am – 12:30 p.m. in the A lot. Click Here for a campus map.

8) What is the registration fee?
There is no registration fee.

9) What happens in the case of inclement weather?
In the event of inclement weather, we  must abide by Ivy Tech Community College - Lafayette campus closing policies. If Ivy Tech is closed, the career fair will be cancelled.

10) What if we have special dietary needs?

11) Will I have access to the internet?
Yes, if your computer has a wireless card, you will have access to Ivy Tech’s server.
