SMOKING AND TOBACCO USE
All buildings and campuses in the Lafayette region are tobacco free; use of all forms of tobacco products is prohibited.
Parking at the Lafayette Campus, White County Instructional Center and Montgomery County Instructional Center is free to all students, staff and visitors. No registration of vehicles is necessary. However, please observe posted signs for permit, handicapped, and employee parking. During the summer months, designated parking for motorcycles may be available on the Lafayette campus. FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Fresh food service is available next to the Student Lounge of Ivy Hall in Lafayette. The food is normally served during the breakfast and lunch hours, Monday through Friday, when classes are in session. Soda, juice, and snack machines are located near student lounges in all locations.
In addition to textbooks and supplies, college apparel, souvenirs, and other items also are available for purchase. The bookstore is located on the first floor of Ivy Hall on the Lafayette campus. Books may also be purchased online at efolletts.com.
The library on the Lafayette campus is a partnership between Ivy Tech Community College and the Tippecanoe County Public Library. It provides library services to both the college community and the general public. Both organizations provide collections based on the needs of their particular clientele and are staffed by both organizations. The library serves as the main library for the college and as a satellite location for the public library.
The Jan and Jim Shook Wellness Center is open for the benefit of students and employees for a small fee. The center includes weight machines, exercise equipment, lockers and shower facilities.
Ivy Tech is a commuter college and does not operate residence halls. However, the Office of Student Affairs may have information on housing in the community. Ivy Tech accepts no responsibility for locating, approving or supervising local student housing.
CityBus( Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation) serves the campus and surrounding area. Students, faculty and staff may ride the bus at no cost by showing their current, valid ID card.
