Testing

Guidelines for Testing

  • Students must schedule appointments for exams through the test scheduling system. No one tests without an appointment. If you have a problem, please call the office.
  • A picture ID is required for identification before taking a test.
  • It is important that you know your course number, exam name/number and instructor's name.
  • No food is allowed in the testing room.
  • No drinks except water are allowed in the testing room.
  • No children are allowed in the testing room or are to be left unattended unless they are supervised by an adult.
  • All electronic devices not allowed for an exam must be turned off and stored in a locker.
  • Any belongings not related to the test must be stored in a locker.
  • If your belongings do not fit in a locker, you must take them to your car before the exam. The Ivy Tech Online Office is not responsible for belongings left outside the lockers.
  • If your instructor allows the use of a standard or scientific calculator, you may use your own. However, if your instructor allows a graphing calculator to be used for your exam, you must use one provided by our office.
  • The test scheduling system allows you to book your appointment up to 90 days from the current date
  • If you are unable to come in for your appointment, please make sure you delete your appointment

Test Scheduling

Using our test scheduling system, you can:

Create an appointment

  1. Go to our test scheduling system.
  2. Once you have accessed the Test Scheduling System, it will look like a weekly calendar. Find the day you want to take your exam (any areas that are in gray are unavailable to schedule an appointment).
  3. Decide the time and day you plan to take your exam. This will be important for the next step.
  4. Once you have determined the time you want to take your exam, look for a Station number that matches the time you want to take your exam. (For example, if you want to take your exam at 2 p.m., you would look for a Station time slot available at 2 p.m., such as Station 2).
  5. Next, go to the left hand side of your screen and click on the words “Station” of the slot you plan on choosing.
  6. Once you click on “Station” and whatever number is next to it, pop-up window will appear that allows you to enter your personal information for the appointment.  Please remember the user id and password you enter as you may need it in the future!
  7. Once you click “Reserve” your appointment is confirmed in the screen. Click “OK” and then click Refresh on your browser window (up near the web address of your screen) and your appointment will appear as a pink box with the word “Reserved” in green.

Modify Your Appointment on the Ivy Tech Online Test Scheduling System

  1. Log in to Campus Connect or your personal email (whichever one you used to create your appointment). You will need this information in front of you when modifying your appointment.
  2. Once you have opened your email account, look for the Reservation Receipt confirmation you originally received.
  3. Next, look at the day and time for the appointment you scheduled.
  4. Go to ivytech.edu/northeast/online/Testing.html.
  5. Click on the link Test Scheduling System (in green).
  6. Click on the pink RESERVED box that corresponds with your appointment, shown on your Reservation Receipt. Enter the User ID and Password that you created for the original appointment. Once entered, this will show you the information for your appointment.
  7. Next, click on “Modify.” Then, change whatever information you need to (the time, phone number, test number, instructor name, etc.) Once you make the changes, click “Modify” again and this will save the changes you made. Click “Ok” and then click the “Refresh” key on your Window to reflect the change.

Delete Your Appointment on the Ivy Tech Online Test Scheduling System

  1. Log in to Campus Connect or your personal email (whichever one you used to create your appointment). You will need this information in front of you when deleting your appointment.
