Health and Wellness

Because the whole health of our students and employees is important to their success, Ivy Tech works to offer classes and events that promote wellness. Classes such as IVYT 103, FITN 100 and FITN 101 all cover health related topics while working with students to develop their own wellness plans. The Student Life Office and various student organizations strive to offer wellness events and programs each year. Such programs include Wellness Fairs, cohorts to lose weight and improve blood pressure, along with promotions to encourage walking and participation in different active events. Community Health Resource Guides are also available at the Fitness Center and the Student Life Office.
