DISCOVER NURSING(Course ID : HLTH NUR1)
This course explores the career field of nursing and provides students with an overall description of a career in nursing. Students will be exposed to the many facets involved in this career. Students will participate in actual experiences as they shadow hospital nurses, community nurses, and Ivy Tech nursing students on their clinicals. Students will work one-on-one with a senior citizen to assist a community nurse to provide basic weekly health screenings at the local senior citizen facility. After completing the camp, the students will have a broad understanding of careers in nursing.

LEGAL NURSE CONSULTING
(Course ID : HLTH NUR4)
You'll receive a step-by-step introduction to areas such as tort law, criminal law, medical malpractice, civil and criminal litigation practice, legal research and writing, legal ethics, personal injury, and more. By the end of the course, you'll have a solid foundation in several different areas of law to help you understand exactly what you can do to assist attorneys in all phases of civil and criminal litigation.
You'll also learn how to create your very own legal nurse consulting practice from the ground up, including strategic advice on creating a business plan and marketing your services to interested attorneys.

RN REFRESHER LAB

This course allows RN's who've been out of the Nursing profession to practice their skills before reentry into the workforce. The lab covers seventeen areas of instruction including: how to take temperature, blood pressure, suctioning, physical assessments, and mixing insulin in one syringe. The topics are presented in a step-by-step approach with clear examples that makes learning easy and improves your understanding of the basics. The course lets you apply your learning using many drills and exercises. Learn the skills taught here and become successful on the job!

RN REFRESHER THEORY
(Course ID : HLTH NUR2)
Provides comprehensive review of Medical Surgical Nursing, pharmacology, dosage calculations, clinical nursing skills & techniques and clinical practicum in pre-selected hospitals. This course provides an opportunity for former RN's to review, learn, and practice in a non-threatening environment enabling the student to progress towards contemporary nursing practice.
