Regional Student Leadership Retreat
Are you a club officer or thinking of becoming one in the near future? Do not forget to come to the Regional Student Leadership Retreat that happens every fall.
This year, from September 21-22, eight student officers from various clubs, including the Campus Activities Board, Student Government Association and others, attended the Student Leadership Retreat in Indianapolis. At this retreat, club officers learned about their communication styles, how to interact with different styles and how to develop goals for their organization. Each participant left with a goal and a better understanding of how to serve his or her group.
On October 10, 2012 the Campus Activities Board (CAB) was in Connersville gaining feedback on what events students would like to see. They also served muffins and played music.
The CAB is a group of students who plan events for fellow students. They are always looking for new ideas and welcome all students who are interested in making fun events happen on campus. The CAB meets every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Johnson Hall, room 1245. If you are interested, come on by.
