Ivy Tech Community College; Changing Lives
Sustainable Energy
With the growth of renewable energy production, Indiana plays an important role in our country’s goal of energy independence. Increased solar energy, wind energy, geothermal heat, biomass energy, and energy efficiency improvements will all require knowledgeable, well-trained workers.

Ivy Tech has recently introduced an associate of applied science degree in sustainable energy. Concentrations include wind turbine technology, renewable energy systems technology, and home technology integration. Students will gain hands-on experience and knowledge through classroom, laboratories, field exercises, field trips, and an internship.
