Ivy Tech Community College Appoints Executive Directors of Administration and Human Resources

Ivy Tech Community College has named Alisha Aman as the Executive Director of Administration and Marilyn Brenton as the Executive Director of Human Resources for the newly merged Wabash Valley (Terre Haute) and Southwest (Evansville) region.

Aman first joined Ivy Tech in 2008 as Executive Director of Finance. Her experience includes work as a Senior Financial Analyst for Otis Elevator Company in Bloomington, Ind. and as a Plant Accounting Manager for GAF Materials Corporation in Mt. Vernon, Ind. Aman is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in business administration (M.B.A.) at Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Aman has been a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) since 2002. She is very active in the community and volunteers for Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana, United Way, and Leadership Evansville.

Brenton has been with Ivy Tech since 2005. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where she earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and her master’s degree in public administration (M.P.A.). Brenton is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Her experience includes work for the University of Evansville as well as various roles for Ivy Tech, including academic support and human resources. Brenton is involved in several organizations in her field, and is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Evansville Human Resources Administration (EHRA). She is very involved in the community and serves as a board member for The Literacy Center and ECHO Housing Corporation. 

"Both Alisha and Marilyn bring a great amount of talent and experience to their respective roles," said Jonathan Weinzapfel, Chancellor. "They have proven themselves to be a great asset to the College and I am excited to have them as a part of our new leadership team."
