Special Scholarship Opportunities

Chancellor’s Scholarships (3 awards)

• $6,000 total ($1,500 per semester/ $3,000 academic year); renewable for 2nd year
• 3.2 GPA minimum; Academic Honors or Core 40 diploma
• Intent to earn an associate degree
• Deadline to submit: March 15
• 2013 application

Choice Scholarships (20 awards)

• $1,000 total ($500 per semester), tuition only
• Top 1/2 of graduating class; non-renewable; merit-based
• Deadline to submit: March 15
• 2013 application

Ivy Tech-Northeast / Crossroads Distinguished Scholarship (1 award)

• Full-tuition; full-time required (12 credit hours or more); renewable 2nd year
• Must be seeking associate degree in area that articulates to IPFW (e.g. A.S. to B.S. or A.A. to B.A. degrees)
• Maintain 3.2 GPA first year; 3.5 cumulative GPA subsequent semesters
• Deadline to submit: March 15
• 2013 application

High School/GED Transcript
Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast does not require high school/GED transcripts for most students. You may need to submit an official high school transcript or official GED transcript if you are applying to a selective program such as nursing, respiratory care, or paramedic. Some financial aid eligibility options such as Veteran’s tuition benefits and Academic Competitiveness Grants also require these official documents. Important to know: Transcripts are official if they include the school’s official seal or signature plus your graduation date. The high school may charge a fee for processing a transcript request. Contact the high school regarding any transcript fees.
