Student Village Meeting
Monday, February 16 from 10am-11am in Lamkin Hall. Join administrators for town hall style meeting and voice your opinions regarding our programs, processes, and more! Donuts will be provided and students who participate will receive a giveaway! Can’t make it to the meeting but still have something to say? Zumba Fitness Classes
Zumba is a Latin dance inspired workout that is guaranteed to get you moving and shaking! Taught by Ivy Tech’s very own Kristy LeVert (certified Zumba instructor), our classes are free to Ivy Tech students, faculty, and staff. This semester’s sessions are held on Wednesdays from 6:15pm-7:15pm in Lamkin Hall starting January 14 and running through April 22 (with the exception of April 1).
HERstory Panel: Women’s History Month
Thursday, March 5 from 12pm-1pm in Lamkin Hall. Join the Office of Student Life, the Office of Diversity & Outreach, and the Campus Activities Board for a HERstory panel in celebration of Women’s History Month! Women from the Ivy Tech Bloomington community (including Chancellor Jennie Vaughan), as well as from the larger Bloomington community will speak about their experiences of living and thriving in Bloomington and answer questions about . Light refreshments will be provided for attendees.
Health and Wellness Fair
Thursday, March 12 from 11:30am-2pm in the Hoosier Times Student Commons. Student Life in collaboration with Human Resources and the WALK Ivy Tech Committee are hosting the annual Health and Wellness Fair for students, faculty, and staff. Visit with local health and wellness vendors, participate in demonstrations, and learn more about leading a healthy lifestyle.
