Indy West

Ivy Tech Community College – Columbus is hosting Go Ivy Day for high school juniors, seniors, and parents from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, in Poling Hall, 4475 Central Avenue in Columbus. 

Participants will explore the campus and learn about admissions requirements, financial aid options, and the more than 30 degree programs offered at the campus.  They will have an opportunity to meet faculty and students, to experience student life, and to learn about student clubs.  Lunch will be provided.  Two $500 scholarships will be awarded as well as other prizes.

Programs offered this summer at the Columbus campus either in class or through distance learning include accounting, advanced manufacturing, agriculture, business, criminal justice, dental assisting, education, healthcare support, hospitality, human services, information security, industrial technology, environmental design, medical assisting, nursing, office administration, surgical technology, and visual communications.  Ten-week summer classes begin on May 26; eight-week classes begin on June 8; all summer classes end on August 1.

Registrations are being accepted now for both summer and fall classes.  Fall semester begins August 25 and ends December 20.  In addition to Columbus, classes are also offered at our off-campus sites, including Nashville, Greensburg, North Vernon, and Seymour.
