Ivy Tech Bears Athletics Update - May 8, 2013

Ivy Tech Men’s Soccer Struggles to Find Success

The Ivy Tech men’s soccer team, participating for the first time in the competitive premier division of the CIASA Soccer League, have struggled to attain their first victory of the season, as they have began the year on a three-game losing streak.  On April 21, the Bears were defeated 3-1 by the CIASA Falcons ISC.  Daniel Harvey scored the lone goal for Ivy Tech in the game.  This past Sunday, a very experienced CIASA TTFSB overpowered Ivy Tech by the score of 8-1.  Brandon Carter scored Ivy Tech’s only goal on a penalty kick.

Although they will be off for Mother’s Day, the men will be back in action on Sunday, May 19 against the CIASA Indy Inter FC at Park Tudor.  Game time is 3:00 p.m.   Let’s go Bears!
