The Campus Library represents a unique joint effort between Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette (ITCC) and the Tippecanoe County Public Library (TCPL). It serves as the first branch of the Tippecanoe County Public Library and as the main library for Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette. It is the first library of its kind in the state of Indiana and one of only a handful in the rest of the country.
Research, Study and Recreation
The library houses the nonfiction collections for Ivy Tech and TCPL. Both collections provide books, videos/DVDs, newspapers, magazines, journals and numerous reference resources for information and research. Recreational collections include fiction, mysteries, science fiction, westerns, graphic novels, entertainment DVDs, music CDs, books on tape and a large children's collection. Study rooms are also available.
Ivy Tech Virtual Library
The Ivy Tech Virtual Library provides access to thousands of magazines and journal articles, full-text electronic books, audio and video collections, reports, special subject guides and more. To access the Virtual Library from home, log in to Campus Connect, click on the library tab and then click on the image of the Campus Library.
Reference and Information
Public access computers are available as well as computers reserved for student use. The Campus Library also provides wireless for patrons who wish to use their laptop computers. Patrons have access to TCPL and Ivy Tech electronic resources. All computers are installed with Microsoft Office Suite.
Reference desks are located on both floors with helpful staff to assist in finding materials and answering questions.
