The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program is designed to accommodate two groups of students: those who are entering a nursing program for the first time and those Licensed Practical Nurses or certified Paramedics seeking educational mobility to the associate-degree level. As a graduate of the ASN Program, you will be eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN examination to become Registered Nurses. You may seek immediate employment as Nurses or choose to transfer your credits to a four-year institution offering a baccalaureate degree. The ASN program is a selective program.. The nursing program accepts a limited number of students each year and there is a separate application process. Contact your campus of interest below for more details. Check out the Ivy Tech Guided Pathway to Success (Ivy Tech GPS) icons to map out your pathway for success. |
