Repeating a Class

Students are allowed to repeat a course in order to improve a grade. If you repeat a class to improve your grade and you do get a higher grade, your GPA will reflect the higher grade.  The first attempt of the course will still display on your transcript, but your GPA will reflect only the second attempt (if your grade is higher than the first attempt).  Some programs may have limits to the number of times a course can be repeated, and it’s also always a good idea to check with Financial Aid when you are repeating a course to make sure you are in compliance with Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
