Ivy Tech Day is special because it spotlights the many ways Indiana’s community college is delivering for Hoosier communities. Every contribution allows us to continue to provide high-quality, industry-aligned education and training that helps our students achieve a better life and supports Indiana’s economic competitiveness.
– Dr. Sue Ellspermann, President, Ivy Tech Community College
Giving is easy. Anyone interested in contributing on Ivy Tech Day will be able to give at ivytech.edu/giveday starting at midnight Tuesday, April 8. Alumni and friends are also invited to set up a matching gift, become a social ambassador, and visit local community partners on Ivy Tech Day. Last year, 3,000 gifts led to more than $400,000 raised, bringing the two-year total to nearly $650,000.
“Ivy Tech Day is a statewide celebration of our students, our alumni, and the impact we are having in communities throughout Indiana,” said Courtney Roberts, president, Ivy Tech Foundation. “Most major industries – such as education, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing – are influenced by our commitment to Indiana. We love contributing to Indiana’s success and look forward to alumni and friends joining us on this important day.”
Ivy Tech contributes nearly $4 billion annually to Indiana’s economy, and more than four out of five graduates remain in Indiana and contribute to the state’s economy. The College awarded more than 46,000 credentials in 2023-24 – nearly 49 percent of all postsecondary credentials awarded to Hoosiers.
