BLOOMINGTON – Ivy Tech Community College 8-week course registration for Spring Semester 2019 is currently open and classes begin on March 18. Students can enroll or apply now. Walk-in hours are also available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on campus at 200 Daniels Way.
Ivy Tech is offering certificate training in healthcare specialist fields. Students can earn certification in as little as 8 weeks for Certified Nurse Assisting (CNA), Dementia Care, and Nutrition and Wellness. These certifications lead to a Healthcare Specialist associate degree.
Spring scholarships are available for a wide variety of qualified applicants. On average, the Ivy Tech Bloomington Foundation awards more than $50,000 in spring and fall scholarships.
Ivy Tech also offers the Workforce Ready Grant from Indiana’s Next Level Jobs program. For only the cost of books, qualified applicants can earn certifications in high-demand job fields like Advanced Manufacturing, Health and Life Sciences, IT and Business Services, and Transportation and Logistics. Students should inquire within before application.
