Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw is excited to announce a new partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University that focuses on creating a seamless transfer experience between the two institutions.

Highlights of this partnership include:

  • Seamless transfer of credits from several degree programs that allow students to easily transfer on to a bachelor or master’s track
  • Discount offered on most program tuition upon graduation from Ivy Tech
  • Puts nursing students on a “fast-track” to obtaining a master’s degree

The partnership allows for a seamless transfer of credits for many programs including nursing, business, and psychology. With these transfers, students have the opportunity to obtain a bachelor’s or even a master’s (nursing) in five years or less.

Both institutions have a mission to remove barriers that would prevent students from pursuing the career they’re working towards. Ivy Tech graduates could be eligible for a 15% discount of program tuition for most degree programs. This only applies to tuition and is not accepted at IWU-Marion, Wesley Seminary, School of Health Sciences, doctoral, and graduate counseling programs.

Ivy Tech graduates who enroll in IWU’s nursing program not only have a chance to receive their master’s, but they will be eligible for the preferred tuition rate of $250 per credit hour for undergraduate courses and a 15% tuition discount for graduate courses.
