Although Ivy Tech offers 16-week, 12-week, eight-week, and four-week terms, most classes are in eight weeks.

Research shows that eight-week courses not only help keep students focused but also help them better manage the demands of work and family. This positively affects many students being able to stick with school despite their complicated schedules.

At Ivy Tech Indianapolis, we know that school is just one part of your busy life. That's why we've packed our first eight-week term with an exciting array of events designed to enrich your college experience and meet you where you are!

Whether you're looking to unwind, make new friends, or boost your professional skills, these eight events (in no particular order) in the first eight-week term of the 2024-25 year will surely make your time at Ivy Indy unforgettable.
