All soon-to-be fine art or visual communications graduates of Ivy Tech Indianapolis must take the ARTS 250 Fine Arts Portfolio class.
The graduating students spend 10 to 12 weeks curating a collective exit exhibition every semester. Together, they execute every step with the mentorship of Stephanie Robertson, the program chair of the fine arts department. They conceive of the title, develop an installation plan, manage the marketing, judge each other’s pieces, and price the work.
A reception was held for this class' final showcase on Friday, Nov. 10. Check it out in the gallery below!
