The Ivy Tech Muncie-Henry County campus community has reason to celebrate as the Henry County campus reaches enrollment milestones. For the 2024-2025 academic year, the campus has achieved its highest-ever headcount and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) numbers, showcasing the dedication of faculty, staff, and students.
Significant Enrollment Growth
Henry County has set new records in enrollment, reinforcing its role as a vital educational resource in the community:
- Headcount: 450 students, marking a 25.68 percent year-over-year increase (previous high: 426).
- FTE: 375, reflecting a 25.41 percent year-over-year increase (previous high: 353).
Student Completions at an All-Time High
The 2023-2024 academic year also marked the campus’s best-ever student completion numbers:
- 232 total completions, surpassing the previous record of 217.
Retention Efforts Yield Strong Results
Henry County continues to strengthen student support and engagement, leading to improved retention rates:
- Fall-to-Fall Retention improved to 54.4 percent, up from 49.2 percent the previous year.
- Fall-to-Spring Retention increased to 75.9 percent compared to 73.6 percent previously.
