What You’ll Learn

Agility and adaptability are critical for organizational success in today's dynamic business environment. This foundational course introduces students to Scrum, an agile framework widely adopted for project management across various industries. Students will explore how Scrum principles and practices enhance productivity, innovation, and collaboration within business settings. At the end of this course, students will have the foundational knowledge needed to be a Scrum team member and begin using the framework to manage projects. Students will also be prepared to take the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master 1 certification exam.

  3. Summarize scrum events and activities
  4. Identify scrum artifacts and commitments
  5. Discuss the accountabilities and responsibilities of a scrum team
  6. Examine the importance of developing people and scrum teams
  7. Assess the benefits of managing products with agility
  8. Discuss possible organizational impediments that affect the scrum framework
