The intent of the space and systems standards is to ensure that all facilities within the Ivy Tech system support the mission and purpose of Ivy Tech, focusing on providing the residents of Indiana an affordable, quality education. If capital projects achieve maximum alignment with the proposed building standards, the following outcomes are expected:

  • Reduction of redundant costs
  • Increased facility efficiencies
  • Improved emphasis on maintainability
  • Realization of facility equity across and within campuses

    Type of Project: Furniture Bid Package- Ivy Tech East Chicago Capital Renovation

    Description of work to be completed:

    Ivy Tech East Chicago Campus is seeking furniture bids from qualified Furniture Dealers for the Capital Renovation Project, located at 410 East Columbus Drive, East Chicago, IN 46312. The Owner intends to enter into a single contract with the Dealer that submits the lowest responsive and responsible bid and who will be fully responsible for the coordination of all required work. A highly recommended, but optional, pre-bid virtual meeting will be held on April 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM CST | 3:00 PM EST. Awarded Furniture Dealer is expected to commence furniture installation on May 13, 2024, and to complete installation on or before August 1, 2024.
