The Hospitality Administration program provides the skills to be successful in the hospitality industry which is the largest private sector employer in the United States. Those in the program will be receiving hands on training in world class facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. It is filled with engaging labs and there is a restaurant that is run by the students once a week. The instruction is modeled after the best practices and principles of some of the most well-known hospitality colleges in America. Our program is a great opportunity to gain industry relevant certifications that strengthen your employment portfolio.

The goal of the program is to offer affordable, quality and flexible educational services that will strengthen Indiana’s economy. It enhances cultural development with courses, certifications, and degree options in: Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management with areas of emphasis in Restaurant Management, Hotel Management, and Event Management.

Our Graduates

Those that graduate from the program will have the knowledge to excel in the culinary field and the ability to begin working above an entry level position. The Associate of Science degree prepares students to transfer to a university to pursue a bachelor's degree, and transfers to several public institutions in the state.

Our Baking & Pastry Arts graduates have been trained according to industry demands and American Culinary Federation Standards for Pastry certification, and work in restaurants, hotels and grocery stores, among other businesses.

Our Culinary Arts graduates work as first, second or sauté cooks, sous chefs, and culinary specialists. Ivy Tech’s educational kitchen enables us to offer training for entry-level positions.
