Thanks to Ivy Tech Bloomington’s partnership with Applied Research Institute (ARI), WestGate@Crane Technology Park, and Purdue University, the campus is now offering a new Semiconductor Fabrication Certificate (CT) to support the growth of the microelectronics industry in the U.S.
The program prepares students for entry-level careers in microelectronics and automated manufacturing. Ivy Tech Bloomington has held microelectronics immersion camps and other outreach initiatives aimed at developing, implementing, and recruiting for Ivy Tech training programs that will increase the number of qualified technicians and strengthen the pipeline to fill future workforce demand.
