iGrad is an Ivy Tech Community College program, unique to the Columbus Campus, that is embedded in the high schools of Bartholomew County to work with students who need additional support such as coaching, mentoring, and tutoring to achieve high school graduation and college or career readiness. The iGrad Program uses a team approach to assist our students: iGrad Coaches help our students navigate through the barriers they may experience as they advance through school; College and Career Readiness Coaches help students prepare for their lives after high school; and community volunteers can work with students as mentors or tutors.
Community volunteers can apply to be tutors or mentors for our students at any school. Students often need additional help in subjects such as math or science and volunteers meet with the students for about an hour each week to help them with assignments and studying.
iGrad welcomes referrals from service providers outside of the school corporations. Complete an online referral form.
If you are a parent or guardian and would like your student to participate in the iGrad Program, complete and online iGrad Parent/Guardian consent form.
