Whether you're a returning student who needs to see an advisor or a brand new student who needs to start the application process, we can help you discover where you need to go. Choose from options below! The application process is a little different depending on what type of student you will be, so pick the choice that best matches your situation.

Which of these fits you best?

Good news! You've got the easiest path. All you need to do is click here to get started on the application process! If you have trouble completing your application or during any step of the application process, get connected with a local campus representative at askfortwayne@ivytech.edu.

The general application is the best fit for any of the following:

  • Anyone seeking a degree or certificate
  • Anyone planning to transfer to a 4 year school
  • Anyone who just wants to take a couple of classes for credit
  • Anyone who is a current student at another university and wants to take classes to transfer back to their parent university

After applying, schedule an appointment with an enrollment specialist by emailing fortwayne-expressenrollment@ivytech.edu or by stopping by our Enrollment Center on Fridays 8-5 at 3701 Dean Drive (follow campus signage to Student Life Center building). 

If you've already applied and been accepted, your next step is to complete the Enrollment Checklist and meet with an advisor.

  • Your advisor’s name and contact info can be found in MyIvy on your dashboard in the lower left column and in the My Academic Profile section. You can email or call your advisor directly to set up a time to meet.
  • You can also schedule an appointment with your advisor online in MyIvy. See step-by-step instructions.

Need to sign up for next semester's classes? If it's been less than two years since you took your last class, you just need to meet with your advisor and make a plan.

Even though you've taken classes at Ivy Tech before, it’s a good idea to meet with your advisor before registering for classes.

If it’s been more than two years since you’ve taken a class at Ivy Tech, you will need to re-apply before you can register for classes. See "Need to Apply" for more details.
