This scholarship aims to provide financial support to students who may otherwise struggle to afford their education. This fund helps increase access to education, reduce student debt, and support student rentention and success.

$1,500; Five awards are available each year, contingent on sufficient funding.

  • Maintain a competitive GPA of 2.5 or higher

$1,000; One award is available each year, contingent on sufficient funding.

  • Be enrolled at the Hamilton County campus
  • Be at least 28 years of age -Have completed at least one-half of their program of study and be enrolled at least part-time
  • Have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher

Jordan Kontor Memorial Scholarship

The Jordan Kontor Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Jordan Kontor, an incredibly hard-working entrepreneur with an engaging spirit. Tragically, Jordan passed away at the age of 28. In his honor, this scholarship aims to support students who embody Jordan's energy, drive, and determination to succeed, even in the face of academic, resource, and monetary obstacles.

$2,500; One award is available each year, contingent on sufficient funding.

  • Be enrolled at Ivy Tech Hamilton County campus -Demonstrate financial need
  • Have earned a 2.5 or higher GPA -Be seeking an associate degree in the School of Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain, the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Sciences, or the School of Entrepreneurship
  • Be in the last phase of the associate degree program, completing the final fifteen credit hours
  • Priority will be given to students with greater financial need and higher GPAs
  • Show appreciation by acknowledging JoJo's Jumpstart Foundation in a sincere letter of thanks
  • Inspire other donors to support students like you by sharing a photo of our choice, a biography (a template will be provided), and sign a photo consent form
  • Attend the annual gala (occurs in September) in which the foundation celebrates recipients and their families
