Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette is partnering with Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC), West Central Indiana Career & Technical Education, and local industry to create the Industrial Career Academy (ICA) at our Crawfordsville Satellite Location. Earn college credits from Ivy Tech in high school and access opportunities for on-the-job training and paid internships through participation in the ICA.
Providing a unique educational experience utilizing hands-on learning with on-the-job training to prepare students for upward career mobility and to support economic growth for their communities.

Get hands-on with learning with the Industrial Career Academy. Students in the ICA will explore industry 4.0 technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), human to robot collaboration, big data, safety, electrical, sensors, digital integration, fluid power, robot operation, measurement, CAD, CNC, additive manufacturing, print reading, and technical mathematics. Emerging technologies that make the manufacturing world ever-changing will be introduced to students. These technologies include mechatronics robots, programmable automation, cloud technologies, networking, big data, and analytics.
During the duration of the career academy, students are connected with industry partners for exclusive opportunities for on-the-job training and paid internships.
